While it's simply impossible to cover everything over the week of the Monterey Historics, I tried my best and spent Saturday afternoon walking through the paddock at Laguna Seca taking in aisle after aisle of automobile racing history. My favorites? The Trans Am cars of course but the classic NASCAR Stockers were damn cool too. The biggest treat? The tribute to racing legend Dan Gurney who tour the tents that assembled some of his most significant race cars including his 1967 Le Mans winning Ford GT Mk IV and my personal favorite, the Kirk White-owned, Sunoco Blue Ferrari Daytona in which he won the 1971 Cannonball Run.
