In April 1964 Ford introduced the Mustang to the world, debuting at the 1964 New York World's Fair. The Ford Mustang was an immediate hit and spawned countless other Pony Cars such as Plymouth's Barracuda, the Chevy Camaro, the Mercury Cougar, the Pontiac Firebird, the the AMC Javelin as well as the Shelby-built GT350 and GT500. This custom built Ford Mustang started out with the body of the 1969 and 1970 Sportsroof body style but was extensively modified with a modern Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 drivetrain. Check out the current Mustang dash installed seamlessly into the interior along with the DOHC V8 installed under the hood. This is truly a one-of-a-kind mustang that mates classic looks with a contemporary Shelby GT500 drivetrain.
